Mark Graves is an award-winning Oregon photojournalist with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest and nearly twenty years of experience chasing Oregon’s stories — the people, the moments, and the unpredictable turns that define the state. Away from the field, he works in a large attic studio in Southeast Portland, a quiet, light-shaping space built for portraits, ideas, and experiments that only happen when time slows down.

He lives in Southeast Portland with his German shepherd, Viggo — a dog who has appeared in more frames than most actors. And between assignments, he runs Bark With Mark, watching dogs and photographing them mid-play, mid-chaos, and mid-happiness.
